Premarital & Marital Assessments

I am a trained facilitator with the PREPARE/ENRICH program. Currently, I offer these assessments through formal pre-marital counseling associated with the churches I provide this service through (Legacy Church Global & Believers Gospel Chapel).

Couples who do not attend either of these churches but are interested in completing the assessment, can contact me for pricing and more information.

PREPARE/ENRICH is a customized couple assessment completed online that identifies a couple's strength and growth areas. It is one of the most widely used programs for premarital counseling and premarital education. It is also used for marriage counseling, marriage enrichment, and dating couples considering engagement. Based on a couple's assessment results, a trained facilitator provides 4-8 feedback sessions in which the facilitator helps the couple discuss and understand their results as they are taught proven relationship skills.

PREPARE/ENRICH will help you:

• Identify strength and growth areas

• Explore personality traits

• Strengthen communication skills

• Resolve conflicts and reduce stress

• Compare family backgrounds

• Comfortably discuss financial issues

• Establish personal, couple, and family goals

PREPARE/ENRICH assesses these areas of your relationship:

• 12 Relationship Scales -- communication, conflict resolution, roles, sexuality, finances, spiritual beliefs, and more

• 5 SCOPE Personality Scales

• 4 Couple and Family Scales -- based on Circumplex Model

• 4 Relationship Dynamic Scales

• 30 Customized Scales

The program is set to run for 10 weeks, engaging up to 7 couples on everything related to creating solid marriages. Core topics include: understanding female/male differences, marital expectations, communication, conflict resolution, finances, and parenting. Couples will be engaged in couple and group activities within session, and will be expected to complete assignments together at home (date night).

In addition to the main facilitators, One Accord also invites other professionals and lay couples to share their expertise on matters related to creating a vision for your marriage, marriage and the law, marriage and finances, boundaries, and finally on building lasting relationships.

One Accord eventually will create a network of couples who will have access to the facilitators and each other even beyond their group setting via blog, email, newsletters, and marital activities/retreats.

One Accord is built upon the idea that marriages are the foundation of communities. If the marriages aren't strong, balanced and secure, then this impacts the family base, and the wider community.
