My approach to therapy draws from a number of therapeutic approaches but is based on cognitive-behavioral (CBT) therapy. Cognitive-behavioral therapy is based on the idea that a person’s own unrealistic thoughts and beliefs lead to their negative moods and unhealthy behavior.
